Phoebe Halliwell is the third sister of the Charmed destiny. For nigh on 3 years she was the youngest, and most childish, sister. Phoebe was born on November 2 1975 to Patty Halliwell and Victor Bennet. She along with her 2 sisters were born witches and up until their mother's death they had full use of their powers. When Patty was killed while trying to vanquish a water demon their Grams decided to bind their powers and strip their memories. As a result of this Phoebe grew up with the idea that she was perfectly normal and it wasn't until Gram's died that she and her sisters learnt the truth. Since the death of her sister and the realization that the power of three was not dead with Prue has made Phoebe have to grow up a little more and has found her getting a steady job and, for a while, she was in a steady relationship and actually got married! When the Angel of Destiny gave them the chance to relinquish their powers she thought about it but was won over and so the destiny carries on.

Love

 

Phoebe has had many relationships throughout Charmed, many of which didn't last. The most grown-up relationship she was in was with Cole. They met when Phoebe had gone back to college while he was working for evil. He planned to use Phoebe's attraction for him to destroy the Charmed Ones from the inside. This didn't work, however, as he ended up falling in love with her. When his demonic side was revealed to her she couldn't kill him and instead they learned to opress his evil ways. Later on when she was called on to kill him she used a potion to strip him of his powers which apparently made everything perfect. When the source inhabited Cole's body and he turned evil again, Phoebe couldn't leave him and so became his Queen. However, when the time came to choose between Cole and her sisters, Evil and Good, she chose to destroy Cole and the Source within. His love for her kept him going on until he found a way out of the demon afterlife but, no matter how much she loves him, their relationship is over.

Powers

 Being one of the Charmed Ones means Phoebe has innate powers given to her at birth. After her mothers death at the hand of a water demon they were binded, she couldn't use them and all memories of them were erased. Things stayed that way until the time of Grams' death. Phoebe was the one who first went into the attic and found the Book of Shadows. She was also the only one to believe in her powers, at first. Phoebe's main power is the power of premonitions. This means she can get glimpses of the future, mainly of innocents who they need to save, in order to change it for the better. Apart from Leo, she is their pyschic link to the Elders and is the one who tells them who the innocent are. As time has passed we have seen her powers advance. She gained the power to see into the past which was an advancement of her original power, this led them to see their past selfs. At the end of season 2 when Phoebe wishes on the genie for an active power she gains the power of levitation, stolen from a dragon lord. Coincedentally this was to be her power in season 3 which, combined with her martial arts skills, would become a lethal weapon. Her powers, as we know, advance to the stage where she can use a sort of electricity thing, her first true active power.

Spells

Throughout Charmed Phoebe has been the main spell writer for the sisters fight against evil. This was her field whereas Piper's was potion's and Prue's was the whole fighting part. With Prue gone, roles have changed. Phoebe is startibg to fight more and Paige has begun to take over the witchy side of things, making both potions and spell. However we know that the sisters' muse is their mainly for Phoebe's spell writing and she has a natural ability. She has used spell for personal gain. Her most meorable was to make herself smarter which included the line' P.S this is not for personal gain'. This turned out well, however, as she was able to read the latin and free her sisters from the painting in which they were trapped.

Evil Phoebe

    

 

As with all the sisters in Charmed, Phoebe has turned evil on occasion. Her first real taste of evil was when the woogy inhabited her bidy. She was pleased that she had finally got an active power. The woogy allowed anything she wanted to materialize. Her evil past self came to the future. In  the past Phoebe had the power of Pyrokinesis , able to create fire, and was in love with a Warlock named Anton who gave her a potion to triple her powers. She fought her cousins, Piper and Prue who had the power to freeze things and Aquakinesis the ability to make ice. They cursed her and the same curse was going to affect Phoebe unless they helped her. Near the end of season 3 Phoebe was turned into a banshee allowing he to sense the pain of others who she would then kill by screaming at them. Luckily, as usual, she was saved due to the fact she had never killed anyone. To find her Prue cast a spell which turned her into a dog as they could sense things that humans couldn't. When Cole became the Source, Phoebe became the Queen of the Underworld. She had the power to flame teleport and could also fire fire out of her hands, Pyrokinesis. Her evil baby also gave her powers which exhibited themselves. She changed fruit into meat and also had super strength.

Looks

  

 

 Phoebe has changed her look too many times to count so instead of writing about each one in turn, which would take forever, I will continue to post pictures in this section for each new look she has. If anyone has any pictures of their own just send them to me and I will add them or I am sure The-Charmed_One wouldn't mind adding them.

 

   

Changes

Phoebe has had many, one-off, changes. When she put on Grams' enchanted ring she turned into a housewife from a black and white sixties show. Her love for Cole mixed with a situation with a Sea-Hag contributed to her bacoming a mermaid and deciding to stay as a mermaid for a while. Phoebe, along with Paige and Piper, was turned into one of a trio of superheroes, The Protectors. Hopefully more like this will be still to come as they are always funny to see. 

Future

Throughout the seasons we have seen Phoebe becoming more confident and it looks like this will carry on. We already know she gains an active power of electricity which should make her more confident as a witch. Along with her amazing fighting techniques she is set to become unstoppable.
