Prue Halliwell is the oldest of the three sisters and she posses the power of telekinesis. She is able to move objects with her mind. At first this power was triggered by anger. She then learned to control this power and use it at will. At first she channeled it through her eyes but then at the start of season two she used her arms. In the season two episode Miss Hellfire, Prues next power first appeared. She learned to astral-project, which is moving her astral self to another place. However she cannot use her telekinesis while in her astral form. At first her astral-projection was triggered by the need to be in two places at once.
The sisters mother died when they were young and Prue took most of the responsibility of caring for her younger sisters. She was always there for them and would have done anything to protect them. At first Prue was unsure of becoming a witch but she learned to respect it and even enjoy it at times.
Prue first worked at a museum, followed by Bucklands-an auction house and then fulfilled her dream of becoming a professional photographer.
Prue was always considered the strongest Charmed One. Unfortunately in the last episode of season three she was killed by a demon named Shax (for more information check out the episode guide section). This was a great loss for her sisters. She will be greatly missed by everyone! |
